ELECTRICAL SOFTWARE

ETAP(ELECTRICAL POWER SYSTEM ANALYSIS & OPERATION SOFTWARE)

We perform power system studies in ETAP software, including short circuit & load flow, relay coordination and protection, motor starting and Arc flash studies.


FEBDOK :

We perform Low voltage distribution design in FEBDOK software including technical engineering UPS system design, small power & lighting distribution, Heat tracing circuit design.


SPEL(SMARTPLANT ELECTRICAL) :

HVAC ENGINEERING

Preparation of HVAC Calculation (Total Heat load, Airflow (CMH), Air Handling Unit Capacity, Supply Fan Capacity and Exhaust Fan Capacity) for Accommodation Spaces.

PIPING & ARRANGEMENTS

This discipline is involved in the preparation of piping layouts and arrangements of technical and

accommodation spaces on board all types of vessels and in all levels of detail.

All activities are performed either in close cooperation with the structural discipline or with third parties (such as yards and other engineering- or installation companies).

During both the conceptual and basic engineering phase, arrangement specialists can perform feasibility studies concerning ergonomic and operational requirements and in accordance with health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.

In the detailed engineering phase, piping design (including pipe stress calculations, and supports design) can be performed in combination with detailed accommodation and installation layouts. For bent pipes, the pipes are designed in accordance with the specifications and constraints of the yard’s (or subcontractors) bending machine(s).

Design Services

CABLE ROUTING


Marut Technologies provides total cable routing solutions. We design cable, tube and umbilical routing using software to suit your requirements and budget. Routing Systems used at Marut include Cabsys, PDMS Cabling, or simply Excel. 


Marut has experience in cable and routing management for oil and gas projects consisting of more than ten thousand cables, but also offers cable routing services for smaller packages. At Marut we fully understand the complex and critical nature of cable routing, along with the associated standards and good practices. However, we proudly understand that cable routing should never represent a large proportion of project costs. Our experienced, highly organized team are extremely efficient in providing full cable routing services.


3D MODELLING INCLUDING CABLE LADDER AND TRAY DESIGN

Marut offers full 3D modelling services and drawing extraction/production for EICT disciplines, and also Mechanical, Structural, Architectural and Piping disciplines. Our preferred systems are PDMS, PDS, AutoCAD and Microstation. Unlike lesser experienced companies, Marut uses experienced design engineers from the relevant disciplines and exploits the full power of this software to provide models which are fully clash checked, and MTO's which are updated at the touch of a button. Your Marut model is clash free, 100% accurate in terms of materials, and thoughtfully designed by the 'right people'. Marut models and drawings can be produced to your company's or clients' CAD standards, to provide 'drop-in' compatibility.


LIGHTING DESIGN

Marut offers total lighting design across all industries, from industrial to the most stringent oil and gas environments. Our design is 'vertically integrated' from Distribution Board design and purchasing and feeder sizing to the final lux level calculations and bulk material purchases. Marut utilises the lighting design software Dialux and Chalmlite. Lighting design by major EPC companies is often a drawn out, changeable and troublesome process which absorbs far more personnel and man-hours than should be necessary. By allowing Marut to execute your lighting design, you will receive an efficient service by experts who understand the real world lighting requirements and provide an accurate, but flexible lighting design at the first submission, allowing you to avoid expensive delays late in your project.
